I've been writing some features for Bicycle Buyer Magazine - which is treating itself to a bit of a makeover and expanding on it's editorial...
For the April / May issue I interviewed Kate Moross, Will Broome, Holly Wales, Robert Evans and Marcus Ross about the creative forces of the bicycle, dropped in on the Bristol Bike Project and took a tour of the Brompton Bicyle factory, a Willy Wonka operation from the past, currently churning about 700 hand made bicycles a week in West London.
Last week I went to visit the Bristol Bike Project, a charity / volunteer lead organisation who take old / abandoned bikes and run workshops where they teach vulnerable members of the local community (refugees, recovering addicts, the homeless) to fix up a bike which they can then keep for their own.
I won't write much more as I am doing a feature on the project for Bicycle Buyer magazine, however I did make this tiny web edit whilst I was down there (I'm learning to video edit right now... so very much a case of work in progress)
